Today Hudson Wade fell asleep while I was feeding him..in his high chair!! It was the SINGLE MOST cutest thing Ive EVER seen! HILARIOUS! I think I may even scrapbook this..it was just too funny!



He didnt even wake up when I took off his bib and the high chair tray!

Moments like these just melt my heart!

Thank you, Jesus for that today... during the moment when I was tired, weary, anything but motivated. You have such a creative way of giving us joy!

To my followers: Sorry for not posting a craft today! I am going to try to post something that Ive created at least every other day. Its a challenge to myself! Creating things is one of my happy places and I want to make sure I keep doing it on a regular basis! Whether is be a card, scrapbook page, or even a cake!

My Pink Stamper Weekend Challenge

The MPS Weekend Challenge was to create something that has to do with winter. It could be anything from a card to a scrapbook page... as long as it has to do with winter! The winner will recieve the 'Winter Frolic" Cricut Cartridge and I reaaalllllyyyy hope I win. I JUST put this cartridge on my Christmas list the day before the challenge was posted over on mypinkstamper.com!!!

So, here is my finished product for the MPS Weekend Challenge.

A few things I used to make this card: Elmer's two-way glue pen, glitter cardboard letters, white glitter paper and black shimmer paper. I also used a YouTube video tutorial from maxandshoji called 'How to Make an Envelope".. which I must say, I loooovvvvveeee that I know how to make envelopes now because I can coordinate them to match my cards! Yay! Hope you like! Wish me luck that I win the challenge!!!!

Finally

I have finally made time to blog! And bonus: Edit my blog! Somehow I got motivated to catch up on school work AND blog. Wow. This almost NEVER happens!
Anyway, recently I have purchased a Cricut. For those of you who dont know what a Cricut is.. It's a die-cutting machine used primarily for scrapbooking. All I can say is LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Cricut machine. While learning how to use my Cricut I stumbled upon My Pink Stamper from mypinkstamper.com... Head on over there to see how great she is!!! I have been soooooo inspired since I have been following Robyn from MPS that I just want to CREATE all the time with my cricut machine! I am hooked!
Well, I am super excited about the new Connect Groups that started last week at Christ Church West Monroe. Tomorrow will be Matt and I's first time to go and I am looking forward to God expanding our relationships with our church family, among other things! Especially for Matt's sake because he doesnt know as many poeple from CCWM as I do, being that Ive been a member FOOORREEEVVVEEERRR and he is fairly new. Say a special prayer for us that we will truly become more connected to our church family together, as well as individually.
SOOOOO, I am aware that I simply just CANNOT end my blog without an update on my sweet, sweet.. sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet angel baby boy, Hudson Wade.(this is for you melissa!..since youre probably the only one reading anyway! HA! Help me get followers so I am motivated to blog more!) He keeps me on my toes! I literally, LITTERALLY can't turn around 2 seconds without him getting himself into something he shouldnt be in. Whether it be in the electrical outlets or under the furniture, I cant keep up with him! He even crawls out of his room into the hallway to get to other rooms in the house! And when I say crawl, I mean on elbows and feet, not hands and knees... He army crawls! He is such a mess. But not only does he keep me on my feet all the time, he also keeps me laughing and full of joy. He keeps things interesting around here and I cant rememeber how boring our home life was without him!
Thank you, Jesus for such a precious bundle of joy that has turned our lives upside down..or should I say, right side up?! He is the highlight of everyday and constantly reminds me of just how much you love me for blessing me with such a heaven sent miracle!

Time to Blog!

Okay! Time to blog! Since it's been so long! Or atleast it feels like it anyway!
We are soooooo happy that daddy is out for SUMMER!!! Yippeee! This means more time for me and my hubby, more time for my hubby and his brand new baby boy and also more mommy time to herself!
Unfortunately my mommy time includes this horrifying summer math course that will be taking up 5 whole weeks out of our 2010 summer. Boo. :(

Long time, no blog!

I know it's been a little over a week since I have blogged. Let me cover the bigger events from the few days!
My first Mother's Day was the sweetest! I got a card that was signed by Matt AND Hudson (og course Hudson had a little assistance signing his name!) The card was filled w watermelon seeds bc I have been telling Matt I want him to plant me some watermelon! My presents also included the 3rd season of The O.C., a brand new HOT PINK Chi, and I goty laptop fixed! It was a sweet Mother's Day!
Hudson Wade went to his 2 month check up and now weighs about 12 lbs and 22inches! He is growing so fast that it breaks my heart to pieces!

He can now sit in his Bumbo seat! I think he likes it!



We've been waiting to dress him in these USPA onsies! Mom bought him some shorts and you can barely see them but he can now wear his brown shoes that our pastors wife bought him!

Anticipation

Tomorrow is my first mothers day! I'm not getting to spend it exactly how I'd like but atleast I'll be with my boys all day! I'm anxious to see what I am getting.. I really have no clue this time! Lol (usually I do but matt doesn't need to know that ;)
Well, my little man is growing! He measured 22 inches at his 2 month appointment and he weighed 11.4 lbs! He can now wear his 0-3 month clothes and he can fit in his size 1 shoes!! Also, he can sit in his Bumbo seat! And he loves it!!!

Pop and Nan

Last night I had a scrapbooking party at church that lasted from 6-midnight. Matt was helping his friend Nick with some yard work. So, Hudson Wade stayed the night with Nan and Pop for the first time ever!! I wasn't sure if i could handle a whole night without my baby! I had to hold back tears when mom came to pick him up. She told me that he pooped in his bath and then threw up on her afterwards. Then she said she didn't get any sleep. Ha! Maybe she was the one who couldn't handle it! Anyway, for about two weeks she had yet to see him really smile and laugh out loud, responding to what you say to him. She told me that she got an ear full this weekend! Dad and mom were both making him a very happy little baby boy today! I couldnt pass up such a sweet photo opportunity! I had to capture that precious angel smile!

When I picked him up he just layed on my shoulder and looked at me. He missed his mommy and she missed him too!
